CHAILLE D. THOMAS
CEO/FOUNDER
Since 1998, CEO/Founder Chaille D. Thomas has been in the film and entertainment industry. In 2007, he implemented a program to promote independent filmmakers which provided a platform of creative dialogue about their projects. This lead to his first film screening - and the first screening by an African-American at the Baton Rouge Shaw Center. Mr. Thomas attributes everything that he has learned about the film industry; pros and cons. In 2008, his growing love for arts, entertainment, and film spurred his development of the “Independent Media Network.” A lack of inclusion and a need for media job training within the African American Youth demographic provided Mr. Thomas the opportunity to start the non-profit 501c3, Independent Media Network Foundation. In conclusion, Mr. Thomas is a goal-oriented individual, whose top priority is finishing the project at hand. He credits his strong sense of faith as his reason for being; for never giving up and for giving back to others.
